2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Purchase information: When you purchase a FlexCheckout Pro license, you provide your name and email address. Payment details (card number, billing address) are collected and processed directly by Stripe, Inc. — we receive only a transaction confirmation and your email address.
• License key: Your license key is generated and stored on our license server to validate your subscription and deliver software updates.
• Support communications: If you contact us for support, we retain the content of that communication to resolve your issue.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically by the Plugin

When the FlexCheckout Pro plugin is installed and active on your WordPress site, it communicates with our license server (wcflexcheckout.com) for the following purposes only:

• License validation: Your license key and site URL are sent to our server to confirm your subscription is active. This check runs once daily in the background.
• Software update checks: Your WordPress version, WooCommerce version, PHP version, and plugin version are sent to check for available updates. This is standard WordPress update infrastructure.

Important: FlexCheckout operates entirely within your own WooCommerce installation. Your customers’ names, email addresses, order data, payment information, and any other checkout data are never sent to us. We have no access to your store’s customer or order data whatsoever.

2.3 Website Usage Data

When you visit wcflexcheckout.com, standard web server logs may record your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. We may use analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic patterns. This data is not used to identify individuals.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

4. Your Customers’ Data

FlexCheckout Pro customizes the WooCommerce checkout experience on your store. All customer data entered during checkout — including names, addresses, email addresses, and payment details — is processed entirely within your WordPress and WooCommerce installation and subject to your own privacy policy. We do not receive, access, or store any of your customers’ personal data.

If you use Zapier integration features within FlexCheckout, data flow to third-party services is governed by your Zapier configuration and the privacy policies of the services you connect. We are not responsible for how those third-party services handle data.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Stripe

All payment processing for FlexCheckout Pro license purchases is handled by Stripe, Inc. We never store or process your payment card details. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

5.2 WordPress.org and WooCommerce

FlexCheckout Pro integrates with WordPress and WooCommerce. Use of those platforms is subject to their respective privacy policies.

5.3 Zapier (Optional Feature)

If you choose to use the Zapier integration feature within FlexCheckout Pro, data may be sent to Zapier and connected third-party services based on the workflows you configure. This is entirely within your control and subject to Zapier’s privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

• License records: Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 3 years for accounting purposes.
• Purchase records: Retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax law.
• Support communications: Retained for 2 years after the last communication.
• Website logs: Automatically purged after 90 days.

7. Your Rights

7.1 All Users

You may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. We will respond within 30 days.

7.2 European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:

• Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data

wcflexcheckout.com uses essential cookies required for site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. WordPress may set its own cookies as part of normal admin operation.

WC FlexCheckout is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

10. International Data Transfers

Our servers are located in the United States. If you are accessing our services from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.

11. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and restricted access to personal data. We will notify affected users in the event of a data breach as required by applicable law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active license holders by email.
